As we are based in the heart of New York City, we are directly impacted by the COVID-19, working from home, caring for our loved ones and preparing for the economic slowdown. But we are more resolved than ever to bring our contribution and be helpful in any way we can. We have customized our virtual clinical studies platform to collect and share COVID-19 testing information & are making it available to you free-of-charge.
Why is your participation so important?
While COVID-19 testing is a critical tool to fight the current pandemic, gathering and sharing real-time information on the people who were tested and the results of their tests, diseases and symptoms is equally important to get a granular understanding of the impact of the disease and plan further preventive and curative measures.
Why is this data helpful?
For Our Community
Such information is immediately useful to deal with the crisis by identifying segments of the population which are more exposed to the virus and allowing to take additional measures to protect them, and identifying individuals who developed immunity and can be lifted of their confinement to help COVID-19 patients or contribute their plasma in the next weeks for a potential cure called “convalescent serum” as allowed by the U.S. FDA on March 23rd
Testing information is also very useful for clinical research of new vaccines that immunizes us against the virus and drugs that can cure the COVID-19 deadly symptoms. With this information, researchers can identify the right patients to recruit for further trials and better understand the efficiency of their new therapeutics on different patient segments such as age groups, pre-existing conditions, or medication regimen.
Your action is more vital and more powerful than ever!
As an individual, you will get an understanding of the impact of the disease on people similar to you and bring a valuable contribution to public health and research. As a patient advocacy group, you will be able to identify parts of your community who are more impacted to develop additional preventive services and also share with your constituents valuable information on the progression on the disease.
What can you do with this information?
Those who tested positive and feel healthy again can be in the front-line and assist other patients, and potentially contribute their plasma. Those who tested negative or have not yet been tested will gain understanding of the impact of the disease on similar constituents and can make the appropriate decisions in terms of their social distancing behaviors.
Join us in the fight for a better, healthier future.
Our ask is simple: sign-up on our platform and it will only take you a few minutes to fill your information, we will provide you insights on the disease impact to people with similar profile. If you are a Patient Advocacy Group, we would like to partner with you through a Research Collaboration Agreement, where we will provide access to our HIPAA-compliant platform and insights from the data collected free-of-charge, and you would advocate this initiative towards your community and encourage them to sign-up.
COVID-19 is affecting all of us. You can help.
